Quiet Spot, Big Speeds
There’s something special about working in places like Marple Bridge. Tucked away just outside Stockport, it’s the kind of location where broadband often struggles and that’s where we come in.
We recently completed a Starlink installation there, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect: peaceful surroundings, clear skies, and a customer who just wanted internet that actually works.
As always, I arrived with the full kit, a solid 12×18″ galvanised wall bracket and a heavy-duty 1.5-inch alloy mast, with an anti-ferrule converter to keep the Gen 3 dish firmly in place. I mounted everything above the gutter line to give the dish a completely open view of the sky. Starlink doesn’t like obstacles and neither do I.
Once mounted, we powered it up and let the Starlink app do its thing. Within minutes, the dish had locked on, connected, and was ready to deliver lightning-fast satellite internet. It’s always satisfying watching the signal strength jump and knowing the client’s days of lag and buffering are over.
I’ve been fitting aerials and satellite systems across the North West for over three decades now. Technology’s moved on, but the core of what I do hasn’t changed: get the job done properly, securely, and with no corners cut.
This install was clean, tidy, and completed within a couple of hours. Like all our jobs, we offer full transparency on cost, usually around £195 to £250 depending on the setup and we leave every site looking as neat as we found it.
