The Installation Day
When we arrived, we did our usual site survey to check line of sight. It was clear the best placement was going to be a chimney mount, giving us maximum height and a clear view of the sky, well away from trees and rooflines.
We used one of our custom-made alloy chimney brackets paired with our own E-plated adapter—a part we’ve designed ourselves through our engineering partner at spacetek.uk. This adapter offers a tighter, more secure fit than the standard Starlink option, especially for Gen 3 kits.
The bracket and pole were bolted in with galvanised fixings, and we ran the cable neatly along the roofline, tucked discreetly behind a gutter, and drilled into the loft space. We always make sure our cable routes are as invisible as possible—no messy clips or dangling wires.
From Frustration to Fast Internet
Once everything was fixed in place, we powered up the dish and let it calibrate. Within 15 minutes, the customer was seeing speeds of over 220 Mbps—a massive upgrade from their old 5 Mbps line.
It never gets old seeing the joy on a customer’s face when they realise their internet headaches are finally over.
